My biggest takeaways from Kurtis Drake and Ryan Pettitt’s story

A short analysis from the 40 stories written in the bestseller “Bringing Value, Solving Problems and Leaving a legacy”

1. If you don’t live your life by design, you’ll end up feeling disconnected at some point. You are the designer of your own life. You are responsible for your own choices; nobody else is for you. So get to know who you are and make sure you make the right choices, those that are aligned with your values, your passions, your talents, and your skills. If you live your life on autopilot, you live a life by default and that’s the surest way to end up being unhappy, unfulfilled and disconnected from your true Self, Nature, and Life.

2. Focus on what matters most to you. Every day, set the intention of the person you want to be and what you want to do. Prioritizing your life helps you do much more in less time, and for a greater purpose. Once you know your ‘why’, you will “accept obstacles as teaching moments” and you will live in gratitude for everything that is.

3. Reconnect with Nature. “Permaculture is referred to as regenerative agriculture, which mimics real-world ecosystems to create farming in nature’s image”. As a coach in permaculture myself, I can’t agree more with this sustainable approach and lifestyle which goes way beyond agriculture! It allows us to observe, create, implement, assess… and feel one with Mother Earth… and with our true Nature! Once we start working in harmony with (not against) nature, we are better equipped to work and live with (not against) others!

Thank you, Kurtis and Ryan, for making our planet a healthier place!
