Bringing Value, Solving Problems Book
A short analysis from the 40 stories written in the bestseller “Bringing Value, Solving Problems and Leaving a legacy.”
LESSON 4
My biggest takeaways from Bob Burg’s story:
1. “Success in sales is about being focused on bringing immense value to others. We need to be inwardly motivated but outwardly focused. It’s about them, not us”. This is how Bob Burg defines the essence of sales. Always bring more in value than you receive in payment. Value is “relative worth”, but when you see that your clients come away better off afterwards than before, this is immense value and it’s a win for both of you.
When I see how transformed my clients are after attending my coaching program, I know that the value they’ve received exceeds their financial investment… Focusing on others’ interests first will lead you much further than you can even imagine!
2. Once you are willing to give more, you will also receive more. This is a universal law so be ready and open to receiving as well.
3. Authenticity is paramount in any business. People will do business with you if your words and actions are in alignment with your true self. They will also buy from you if you listen to them deeply, ask the right questions and understand their concerns. From there, they will start to know you, like you and trust you!
Thank you, Bob Burg, for this new perception of sales and marketing.
